Our Time in Eden, 1992
"Noah's Dove" is the opening track of Our Time in Eden, 10,000 Maniacs' fifth and final studio album with founding vocalist Natalie Merchant. Written by Merchant and guitarist Robert Buck, the record sold over two million copies in the U.S. and remains a touchstone of early-'90s folk-rock. "Noah's Dove" was never released as a single, but a live version was included on MTV Unplugged.

Claudia Hoyser is an independent modern country artist from Western New York, known for an organic, swaggery, and sultry sound that has found listeners across the U.S. and the U.K. She broke through with her weekly video series "Hoyser Country Monday," drew millions of views with her covers of country and folk standards, and has charted singles on Music Row's Country Breakout chart.
A Kent State graduate in communication studies, she's also an actor — her songs feature in the Sony/Provident film Wildflower. For Noah's Dove she both reads the story and records the cover, a natural fit for a voice at the crossroads of music and heart.
